At the state German convention for high school students, two of my students were sitting on their balcony next to my balcony while I was playing guitar and they were joking about marrying Sandy van der Bleek. I just started picking out the chords and singing random words as I frequently do and came up with the song after a few weeks. Aubrey and Allie were joking about singing backup as well. Maybe someday guys.
