Kevin Browne: Songs

Unaware

(Kevin Browne)

He has no real aspirations

He’s unaware of his own depravations

Covered in stains from the creation

How does one really become clean

He followed code he thought was worthy

But now he counts it as absurd

Covered in meaningless semantics

Forgetting every sacred word, forgetting every sacred word

-chorus-

He’s unaware – nobody cares about him

And the ground he so carefully planted with seed

Remains barren and dry – but he’s unaware, he’s unaware

Somewhere between the light and darkness

There’s an awakening been prepared

But when the truth (it) falls upon him

Is this a burden he can bear, is this a burden he can bear?

-chorus-
