Florida Sky

Debbie has made numerous oil paintings and Florida Sky is one of them. We have a virtual art gallery in our house. (You can see many of her paintings on her website: http://debbiebrowne.wordpress.com/ The Florida Sky painting is the first painting you will see.) The clouds in Florida often look like mountains and this is one of my favorite paintings she has done. Griffin played a Cello arrangement on the song written by Leon Olguin. I hope you enjoy it and thanks for listening.

Shades of blue, brush strokes hidden from my eye

Makes the clouds appear like mountains in the sky

Glimpses of creation, touches my senses

Buried in this vastness, swallowed by wander

Constant and solid, carries me under

And yet I’m tranquil beneath this sky
